ABOUT US
In September 1999, we left on our bikes to explore Latin America. From the Mexican-USA border to the furthest reaches of Patagonia in Argentina, we traveled thousands of miles, stopping several times to better appreciate some of the simply heavenly areas we visited. We returned from this trip transformed, with a notebook full of addresses of people with whom we shared our experiences, and who are now willing to share them with you.
We are first and foremost passionate about life. Travel is the ideal way to take the time to truly live, to experience the rhythm of things and people, to experience magical moments and chance encounters, and to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Travel helps us remain open to new challenges and discoveries which can be destabilizing and yet always help us to grow. How can we not question our perception of things when a Quechuan Andean highlander, living with the bare minimum and working the hostile, infertile land, stops to greet you and offers you a smile? This is the essence of travel.
Peru and Bolivia have much to offer, whether to the avid traveler interested in history and rich cultures, laid-back casual travelers seeking to stop time for a moment or to thrill-seekers who want to fly through surrealist landscapes either on foot or by bike.
